Spring Event Trends 2018

Published on 7th August 2018

With the winter months behind us and spring fast approaching, we’re sure that you’re wondering what to incorporate into your next event. We’re excited to see the themes that appear and have compiled a few ideas based on what we expect to see this spring

Get Ready for Spring

Take Advantage of the Colour of the Season

With the Pantone Colour Institute declaring Ultra Violet the 2018 colour of the season, we have no doubt that this will dominate spring events. Get your hands on furniture with this colour scheme and use it for your next event. Try to use various shades of the colour and remember that colour hue plays a big factor.

Spring is Floral

Especially suitable for spring, add flowers to almost every aspect of your event. Think Floral and think Ultra Violet! Floral elements such as lavender, with a colour mix of purple and white, will help create an appealing look and feel.

Black Compliments

A surprising trend for spring 2018, and although it may seem strange, adding a contrasting colour like black is great for conveying elegance. Black accents are just what you need to have your event colour palette stand out. Be sure to use the colour sparingly and ensure that it suits the colour scheme of your event.

Shine on Crazy Metallics

Stylish and traditional, all that’s needed is a bit of creativity. Gold and silver continue to be a perfect pair and rose gold is certain to be a good choice. We also expect to see a rise in the use of copper for spring events. Get out the metallic table cloths and place all those flowers in shiny vases for table centre pieces.

Welcome to the New Age

Think crystals and new-age elements. A ‘Bohemian’ or ‘New Age’ style theme will look amazing for those outdoor spring events. Get some good quality, outdoor event furniture that is enhanced with special décor. Special décor, such as translucent fabrics and ultra violet crystals will add to the atmosphere, plus they’ll be a perfect accent to those metallic elements.
